Timber Harvesting
Providing Everything You Need

In coastal timber production forests, selective harvesting is the most popular method of harvesting. Trees are selectively cut down when selective harvesting is used from the woodland.
The planned Coastal IFOA permits selective harvesting throughout the whole region.
For regrowth and non-regrowth forests, there will be different constraints on selective harvesting. They have a different forest structure, which explains this. While non-regrowth forests are multi-aged, have a more complicated structure, and contain older and larger trees, regrowth forests are younger, actively growing woods.
